“MENTAL HEALTH MATTERS”
The World Mental Health Week was observed from 6th October 2014 to 12th October 2014. During this week’s Awareness camps, Public lectures were organized in District Jail Kasna, With Varisth Nagrik Samaj And RWAs in the nearby Localities.
Poster Making and Slogan Writing Competition on the theme “Mental Health Awareness week” was also held in Sr. Sec. Schools of Greater Noida.
To mark the occasion A public seminar was also organized on the 12th of October 2014 at Shanti Home Greater Noida. The seminar was Inaugurated by Dr. Pradeep Singh (President, IMA, Greater Noida), Director, Institute of Human Behaviour and Allied Sciences(IHBAS), Delhi, and Dr. Prof. Nimesh Desai, who Delivered the talk on Mental Health and other related issues. Dr. Viresh Sharma, Jail Superintendent, District Jail, Kasna, Greater Noida also shared his views on Mental Health in the context of Jail inmates.
All the ACMOs and MOs of Gautam Budh Nagar District, Members of Greater Noida IMA, consultant Doctors from Kailash and Naveen Hospitals, Faculty from Gautam Budh University, and representatives from NGOS, Carers’ and the general public were the part of that Seminar.
